Gabriel Calabuig

Gabriel Calabuig Lloyd holds a degree in English Studies from the Universitat de València and a Masters degree in Humanities: Contemporary Art, Literature and Culture from the UOC, concluded with a final project which analyses the interaction with the space of the path in Siddhartha and On the Road.

Under the supervision of Neus Rotger and Marta Puxan-Oliva, he is currently following his PhD with a thesis dedicated to analyse the poetic use of space in global literature when it is contextualized in a global violence. His research is part of the new framework of global literary studies and aims to make a contribution to the current debate on the global novel.
