GlobaLS – CoSIN3’s seminar: “Networks and intellectual history”, by Martin Grandjean
On December 13, 2022, the GlobaLS and CoSIN3 research groups will organize a seminar led by Martin Grandjean, expert historian in the analysis of historical networks, on translation challenges between the humanities, network analysis and the use of data visualization tools.

Grandjean’s seminar is part of an activities program that will take place on December 13 and 14, in which some members of the ERC project “Social Networks of the Past: Mapping Hispanic and Lusophone Literary Modernity, 1898-1959” (ref .: 803860), GlobaLS and CoSIN3 will deepen the digital humanities component of various projects that we have in progress.
On Martin Grandjean
Martin Grandjean is a Swiss junior lecturer in contemporary history at the University of Lausanne and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), where he teaches the history of international organizations and digital humanities. He focuses on the use of network analysis for historical sciences and is currently working on the archives of the League of Nations.
