GlobaLS and Global Novel’s seminar: “Gender, cinema and novel”, by Jane Gaines and Lucía de Leone

On Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., GlobaLS and the Global Novel project organized the international seminar “Gender, cinema and novel”, taught by Jane Gaines (Columbia University) and Lucía De Leone (University of Buenos Aires, CONICET, National University of the Arts).

Gaines presented, in person, “Counterfactual Speculation and Historical Surprise”. De Leone participated online with the presentation “Imaginaciones territoriales para la patria deseada. De los relatos del fino a reutopización de la pampa Argentina”.
