Chris Tanasescu joins GlobaLS

Postdoctoral researcher Chris Tanasescu joins GlobaLS and CoSIN3 in February. He will contribute to the GlobaLS lab’s Global Translation Flows.

Tanasescu has degrees in both English and Computer Science and works at the intersection of Natural Language Processing (NLP), network analysis, poetry, and translation.

He has served as Professor and Coordinator of Digital Humanities at University of Ottawa and the Altissia Chair of Ethics and Digital Cultures at UCLouvain. He is the author, editor, or translator of over twenty books and has been internationally awarded as an intermedia poet (MARGENTO).
