GlobaLS coordinates a preconference workshop and several panels at the 10th EST Congress: Advancing Translation Studies (Oslo, Norway)

Diana Roig-Sanz, coordinator of the Global Literary Studies Research Lab (GlobaLS), Laura Fólica, postdoctoral researcher (GlobaLS), Maud Gonne, postdoctoral researcher (GlobaLS), Elisabet Carbó, predoctoral researcher (GlobaLS), and Lucía Campanella, former Visiting researcher and current GlobaLS collaborator, will coordinate a preconference workshop and three panels at the European Society of Translation Studies (EST) Congress, organized by the University of Oslo, the Oslo Metropolitan University and the European Society for Translation Studies, that will take place in Oslo from June 21 to 25, 2022.

Preconference workshop
On Tuesday, June 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Diana Roig-Sanz and Elisabet Carbó moderate the pre-conference workshop Global Translation Zones and Peripheries in the History of Translation.

Panels
– On Thursday, June 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Diana Roig-Sanz, Elisabet Carbó and Lucía Campanella coordinate the panel Literary Translation and Soft Power in the Longue Durée.

– On Thursday, June 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., Maud Gonne and Laura Fólica moderate the panel Crossing Minorities in Translation History: Peripheries, Gender and Less Translated Languages.

– On Friday, June 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Ondrej Vimr and Diana Roig-Sanz moderate the panel Global Perspective on Translation Flows.
