Clara Ballart joins GlobaLS and the project “Global Novel”

Clara Ballart has recently joined GlobaLS and the project Global Novel as a predoctoral researcher.

Clara Ballart has a degree in English Philology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2018), an MPhil from the University of Cambridge in Postcolonial Studies of South Asia (2019) and an MA in Social Policy and Community Action from the School of the Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP), in Barcelona (2020).

Her doctoral thesis will study the phenomenon of censorship in the contemporary global novel both from its direct effect on the distribution of works from non-Anglophone markets and in the thematization of the violation of the right to freedom of expression.
